Atenista Ako, Kadiwa ni Ignacio: Ignatian Festival on 21 July 2012 at Ateneo de Manila University
The Ateneo de Manila, in cooperation with the Jesuit Communications Foundation Inc, will hold the Ignatian Festival entitled
ATENISTA AKO, KADIWA NI IGNACIO
here in the Loyola Heights Campus on 21 July 2012.
The Ignatian Festival aims to gather alumni and friends of the Ateneo to learn more about the spirit and tradition of Ignatius of Loyola. Specifically, we would like to celebrate the power and gift of this man’s legacy of Ignatian spirituality as it is and could be lived in our daily lives. Typical Ignatian themes such as discernment, ethics, prayer, leadership, social involvement, science, and art will be featured in this festival.
It will be a whole-day event composed of plenary talks, panel discussions, a Eucharistic celebration to be presided over by Archbishop Luis G Tagle DD STD, and a musical concert to be directed by Fr Manoling Francisco SJ.
We invite you to be part of this first Ignatian Festival. All activities are free of charge; seating capacity, however, is limited. We therefore request you and your party to please confirm your attendance and headcount by Saturday, 14 July 2012, with the event secretariat, the Office of University Development and Alumni Relations:
